- Printed menus with a code in the corner suit venues keeping a physical menu as well.
Size and contrast
Print at 30 mm across or larger for a scan from table distance. Keep a clear white margin around the code, and never print light-on-dark — many camera apps fail on inverted codes.
Test before you print
Scan it yourself at the table, in your dining room's actual lighting, with both an iPhone and an Android. Print a hundred only after that works.
